Chemflow 40 Antifreeze Concentrate

ChemFlow 40 is a 'British-Standard antifreeze Coolant' composed of Mono Ethylene Glycol which uses Organic Acid Inhibitor Technology in combination with silicate and is free from nitrites, amines, phosphates, borates to obtain good protection of all hard metals in the cooling system and engine. ChemFlow 40 is neutral in relation to gaskets and hoses and has good resistance against foam.  Chemflow 40 is an engine coolant concentrate (antifreeze) based on mono ethylene glycol, containing no nitrites, amines or phosphates (NAP free). This product is suitable for both petrol and diesel engines, carefully chosen additives give the following properties in aqueous mixtures.

ChemFlow 40 antifreeze coolant can be used throughout the year in all cooling systems in petrol and diesel engines. Thanks to the balanced additive package and high quality Mono Ethylene Glycol, this standard quality coolant belongs to the highest quality in the market. ChemFlow 40 antifreeze coolant provides year-round frost- and corrosion protection and should be used undiluted in a cooling system.

ChemFlow 40 antifreeze coolant is recommended for use in cooling systems of all types of liquid cooled automotive and industrial internal combustion engines. Always refer to the OEM's manual for recommended antifreeze coolant type.

Fleet trials have shown that when used at the correct concentration coolants based on Organic Acid Inhibitor Technology continue to provide effective corrosion protection for up to 250,000 km for passenger cars and 500,000km in commercial vehicles.

Chemflow 40 is a concentrated product and should be diluted for use with good quality water. Chemiphase recommends that for optimum performance distilled or deionized water is used. The freeze protection afforded by the various dilutions is detailed in the table above: In order to provide a satisfactory level of corrosion protection it is recommended to use at least 33% (1:2) volume of Chemflow 40 in the coolant solution. In line with most car manufacturers Chemiphase recommends a 50% (1:1) volume solution for optimum performance. For cold climates use 67% (2:1) volume, concentrations above 67% volume are not recommended and give no advantage.

Compatibility

Although it is always recommended to use deionized or demineralized water to dilute antifreeze, Chemflow 40 is formulated to be able to cope with different water qualities and is compatible with hard water. Chemflow 40 is compatible with all types of plastics and rubbers used in engine coolant systems. Chemflow 40 is fully miscible with other coolants and can be safely mixed with them. However, optimal performance and longevity of service can only be guaranteed by exclusive use of Chemflow 40.
