THE PROPOSITION
A large Middle Eastern oil producer approached us to test and supply a corrosion inhibitor for use in oilfield production. The Chemiphase products were to be tested against the incumbent chemical.
TESTING PROCEDURE
The testing involved a customer, in house approved 2-4-2 style corrosion inhibitor test where by test coupons were submerged in produced fluids. The coupons were weighed and tested in line with the best practices set forth by “NACE Recommended Practice RP-0775” and “ASTM G-1 & G-4.”

Chemiphase Corroflux Product D outperformed the incumbent (Product A) as can be seen in the results above.
THE CONCLUSION
The Chemiphase inhibitor showed a higher level of performance than the incumbent. The corrosion inhibitor was put onto production which resulted in improved corrosion inhibition.
