CP 1900 - Oilfield Biocide Range

CP 1900 Oilfield Biocide Range are biocides that prevent biofilm formation and control the growth of anaerobic and aerobic bacteria in the oilfield industry.

Biofilm formation is a major problem when dealing with large quantities of water associated with oilfield work. The biofilm, itself a major problem, encourages microbial growth and algeal blooms which in turn present a risk to manufacturing efficiency.  Biofilms can quickly become established within pipework, tanks and machinery leading to problems such as;

• reduction in operating efficiency
• increased flow resistance
• blockages
• pipe and tank deterioration and corrosion
