Requirements

To treat contaminated water on an 80 acre industrial site, to remove high levels of contaminants such as heavy metals (Ca, Pb, Sn), organic compounds (benzene, toulene, xylene, PAH's), phenolics, cyanide & ammonia. 

Chemiphase Process

Chemiphase designed, built and supplied a plant to treat 300 tonnes per hour of contaminated water over a 3 month period. The Chemiphase treatment process involved the use of our speciality chemical products and polymers to effect seperation of oils, organics and heavy metals, which were removed as a sludge. The treated water which complied with NRA discharge consents, was pumped into the river Tee's.

Chemiphase supplied all plant, chemicals, technical staff and operators to run the plant and maintain close liaison with the NRA throughout the period of the contract.
